Passenger numbers hit Bank Holiday record for airport

It seems Bergerac continues to be a major destination for travellers coming to France according to an article Liverpool's Daily Post.

Carriers Easy Jet and Ryanair have recently opened up new routes from John Lennon Airport and France has contributed to attracting 70,000 passengers out of the City's airport during the past bank holiday weekend.

Cheap flights and the ease of travelling have meant strong growth in holidays in the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne which are served by Bergerac Airport.

Second home ownership is also on the agenda for travellers who know they can hop on a plane at John Lennon Airport and arrive at Bergerac just two hours later and be in their accommodation in less than half a day.
