Its in for the night

Shutters shut, logs in and fires lit.
The cold night and blizzard is shut out but the snow is getting deeper and if it continues we will probably have a day indoors again tomorrow.
Donna has been over to Monpazier this afternoon and the snow was already 2" deep.
So much for global warming because this is the third year in a row that we have had snow and significant amounts to boot. Before we arrived the boast was "we do not get snow here"
It is still snowing heavily so if nothing else it should be picturesque in the morning. It is almost a year to the day when we had a 9" fall in one day.
