Welcome to our first guests

It was a pleasure to welcome our first guests for the season although the weather didn't extend the same courtesy. It tipped down for the four days and three nights that they were here.
However, it did not stop them getting out and about and to be honest we saw very little of them.
It was a real thrill when we were told that our Gite, the Pigeonnaire had been chosen from the wide choice on French Connections because it looked the most welcoming and attractive and on leaving to be told that it lived up to expectations and more.
We were even told that the price, although nice for them, was too low for what we offer. However, our aim is to be full through the season and provide the right environment for a great holiday and get a good reputation.
I am pleased though that the guests didn't see the visitors on the pool though. Just after they had left, Donna looked out the window to see Jemima and the Puddle ducks taking a swim.
Hmmmm! shoo!
