Last minute holidays in France watching the rugby

Sun_035 Have you got a few tickets for the rugby but nowhere to stay?

Do you just need a break after a long summer of work?

We have some space for the last week of September and October so why not get in touch.

Whilst the weather has been a bit rough in all of northern Europe this summer we are experiencing some great warm sunshine now and temperatures in the mid twenties and looking at the forecast it looks set to continue for a while longer.

October is notorious for some strong late summer sunshine and for the last three summers we have eaten out in the first week of November.

You could be collecting walnuts from under the tree for Christmas or foraging for wild mushrooms in the woodland. Maybe a quiet coffee in the Bastide of Monflanquin or Monpazier nearby?

Belgium shock Spain

Writes Planet Rugby

Belgium beat Spain 18-6, six kicks to two kicks, in the final of the inaugural IV Nations tournament.

The result is a surprise to Spain and a blow to the country's hopes of qualifying for the 2007 Rugby World Cup. This tournament was to have acted as part of the Spanish preparation for their match against Czech Republic and the Spanish side had something of an experimental look about it.

Rugby World Cup 2007

Keep a beady on the Rugby World Cup official site. As the tournament gets closer the pressure to find accommodation will get harder as a huge influx of fans is expected.

At Jean Blanc we are nicely situated equidistant between both Bordeaux and Toulouse and if you have tickets or intend to apply for tickets and you need a base then bookmark Perigord Vacance or email us here.

I will cover more on the world cup as it gets closer but a year soon passes so plan early. Unfortunately the anti touting rules makes it illegal to transfer tickets or sell them to someone so you need to book and buy directly.

Tickets can be booked here.

If you would like to check on availability with us before booking the accommodation here then call 00 33 (0)553 01 26 14 or email us.
